I know I’m treading old ground here, but you’re getting something at least.

While I take a small break (PS, I’ll return probably on the 15th), Mark has whipped up a comic. Cheers for new Mark comics!

This isn’t the first LOST comic (HOLY CRAP IT’S BEEN A YEAR SINCE THAT COMIC), and it won’t be the last. At least, not until the season ends.

If you don’t watch LOST; or haven’t seen the Season 6 premier, and you’re worried about spoilers, don’t be. None of this makes sense to those who’ve watched the show since the beginning.

There’s truth to both sides of this one! Dice was technically my grammar parole officer back in the day, and there was a news article today that headlined Twitter being the cause of poor grammar with students today.

The article went on to THEN talk about poor low level education, but not before throwing Facebook and Twitter under the bus. I guess if it makes a catchy headline, that’s all that matters, right?

Holy crap it’s a new comic! It was great having a a few weeks off, but it’s great to be back in the saddle.

This was a weird one to do. Since I was at my folks for the holidays, I didn’t have a great setup to work on this, so I was going to just draw it on paper like the old days. Then, because I couldn’t get my scanner working, I had to do it all digitally. The lines came out too straight in comparison to way back in the day (HOLY CRAP 7 YEARS SINCE THEN) but you get the idea.

Exposition: This is the very first comic I actually wrote in that comic ideas file, way back when (the day after that comic, actually). I always intended on doing this comic, but I figure I’d save it for a rainy day. Well, unfortunately, the iPhone 3Gs now does video, and it sort of killed the comic, but I kept it locked away, since the original 3G model doesn’t do video at all.

Since I couldn’t come up with anything else this week, and I don’t want to go a week without a comic (so far so good!), I whipped this up in a short two hours for your pleasure. Would have been an hour and a half had I decided to stick with a retro black and white (you can check it here to see what the comic may have looked like back in 2008!) but I figure I’d keep the color ball rolling.

Hopefully I’ll have a new comic Monday … If I can think of anything.

P.S.: Real conversation. Whimper and all.

This is a real game that I’m afraid to even download. Imagine the reverse, where if YOU die, files are deleted.

Though, adding that to something like Final Fantasy 11 would be too much. Dying in that game destroyed lives.

I had another comic almost ready to go for tonight, but I wanted to wait to use it next week. I was going to go ahead and finish it without a good replacement until I saw this tweet. Thanks Mark, I knew I could count on you to provide the funny. Plus a throw back, (way back!) to one of the first comics with the (then) new style. Check it!

At this rate, Cher and Rising Sun are going to be spun off into their own series.

Some fun facts: You might recognize Mark’s outfit (without color) from forever ago (or the one off from last year). I made that comic seven years ago. God. That scares me a bit. To think that was one of my better looking comics back then. And some alternate titles!
