Someone was telling me over and over how I have to see the new Mooseheads team in action, seeing that they’ve won every game in the pre-season. So I go, with tempered enthusiasm.

Rightfully so, they lost 4-3 in a shootout, with the second and third period being rather poor. In Mooseheads fashion.

It was also pointed out to me that they won every game until I came to one.

In short, I’m no longer allowed to go to Mooseheads games.

Fun fact: This comic was intended to be the Monday update for May 4th, 2009, but decided against it for some reason. Really can’t understand why, since I went with such a crappy comic instead. Only reason I can think of was that it was originally a two parter, and the second part wasn’t coming out all that well. That said, I might still do the second part, but I think I summed up my thoughts of the weather for now.

If you don’t know the bottom two, it’s the exploding Creeper monster from the indie game, Minecraft.

I don’t even like this one anymore since I’ve been working on it for the last four days, but I already had the whole thing sketched, so I might as well not put it to waste. It couldn’t be any worse than 3.0 anyways. Right?

If this is your first time to PPLFROMIRL, (which I highly doubt, no one knows of this place) you’re going to learn one of two things very quickly:

1. I don’t update very much.
2. This comic is very much inside baseball, and it goes back. I mean WAY back.

For those who DO understand, bask in the glory that is this comic.

Treating this like a fresh start, and rightfully so, I haven’t done a comic in quite some time. Figure I’d stay away from color for a while I hammer out this style. Enjoy this for now, I’ll have another one soon.

Got a few ideas over the weekend (which I’ll get to) but as I was ready to start working on them, I got this email. That is all.

While I take a small break (PS, I’ll return probably on the 15th), Mark has whipped up a comic. Cheers for new Mark comics!

This isn’t the first LOST comic (HOLY CRAP IT’S BEEN A YEAR SINCE THAT COMIC), and it won’t be the last. At least, not until the season ends.

If you don’t watch LOST; or haven’t seen the Season 6 premier, and you’re worried about spoilers, don’t be. None of this makes sense to those who’ve watched the show since the beginning.

Apple is having a press event this Wednesday which will more than likely (finally) unveil it’s new tablet device. Despite having no idea what the actual product does, people are are willing to fork down big money towards it. I barely do that with games, let alone devices that might range up to $1000. Yikes.

Fun fact: Got the rough idea for this one shortly before Mark moved out, but ended up filing it under rejected when I couldn’t make it work. Good thing I still have the ideas saved (or is it?).
