Testing this thing out. Blag blag!

Trying to use this WordPress thing is hard. I want to use it as a comic system to get the archives back up, but its proving much more difficult than I though. I’ll get it working though … One day …
In the next few years.
The comics have been uploaded forever, but I finally decided to enter them into the blog so you can flip from comic to comic! Watch as the comic starts great with Dice’s works, moves to my drivel, and evolves to colorful drivel! To save you the effort while the site goes under some maintenance, here are some bookmarks in the archive.
Dice’s PPLFROMIRL Comics
PPLFROMIRL V2
The Fight to PPLFROMIRL V3 (Read Marks, then jump right to WUJAM, I beg you)
WUJAM
If you know of any missing comics, let me know and I’ll fix that up.
Ben wanted a profile picture, but for some reason, he wanted Cloud hair. So be it!
Now I’m going to bed. 19 hours awake and having to work in the morning is not a good mix.
Had a comic idea come up, and it involved Mark. Haven’t drawn Mark in the new style yet, so it was time to bite the bullet and do it. In fact, I inadvertently used some elements Dice used in his original style back in the day. Enjoy!
P.S., this is the perfect avatar pose.
You’ll notice some changes in the site recently, the biggest being the design. The design is the stock theme that comes with ComicPress, an add-on to WordPress. Over the next little while, I’ll actually change the theme to something a bit easier on the eyes and/or functional. Recommendations on colors, layout, etc? This is what the site would have looked like had I got it up and running three years ago (just less broken), but simply lost interest and couldn’t keep up with coding the back-end, which led to where the site is now.
Leave comments! Please! I beg of you!
I was making the latest comic and got a little distracted, so I decided to upload what I felt was a good pose. Why do all of the good poses have to be Mark, huh?
One problem I’ve always, had, and especially had in this comic, is consistency. You can see drastic changes between everyone from frame to frame, like how thin Mark’s face is in frame #3, or how cone headed I look in frame #1. The basic framework stays the same, but the proportions are always messed. Hoping that doing this on a more consistent basis will help, but its always disheartening when I look at a work in progress and its just not looking like what I want it to look like.
On another note, I’m getting better at shaving time while making these things. They’re pretty subtle and probably not noticeable at all, but the easier it is to make a comic, the more likely I’m to make one. Which comes to this: Anyone have a good way to make a speech bubble? Every method I try either involves a bunch of clean-up or is really tedious to create. Send me an email or leave a comment.
Please?
Haven’t drawn Dice in a long, long time, and this is the first time since, (aside from a few sketches from WUJAM). He looks kinda fat in this, but it wasn’t supposed to come out that way.
Have you survived reading the archive yet? Then I have the task for you!
Think back when the original comics were made back in 2002 – 2003. Remember when I couldn’t draw? Remember Mark’s penguin comics? Remember the emo-induced pantsless adventure where I predicted Mark and I would be living together? I want you to come up with comments critiques like that regarding some of the early works, be it funny, or serious criticisms, I want them all. Leave a comment in this topic, the comic in question, or send me an email or something.
I promise you, it won’t end up here in the end.
